“The Lord is my strength and my song…”

Exodus 15:2

Welcome to Saints Peter and Paul

Please join us as we come together in gratitude to experience the mystical beauty of the ancient Orthodox Church in the loving embrace of Christ. Our church has served the community since 1988. We are a small church, giving our members the opportunity to develop deep, meaningful connections to each other. These connections support our faith, and enable  us make  to bring our own gifts into the life of the church. You are welcome here.

New Church Members!

New members have recently joined our church through baptism and chrismation. It is through chrismation — an anointing with chrism, a mixture of olive oil with fragrant spices which has been blessed by the bishop — that a baptized Christian receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit and becomes a full member of the church.

Icon of Saint Olga

We are pleased to acquire the beautiful hand painted Icon of Saint Olga, a Native Alaskan, who in 2023, became the first North American woman, and the first Yup'ik person, to be canonized as an Orthodox saint. Matushka Olga has long been venerated in Alaska, throughout America, and abroad. She is remembered as a humble mother, midwife, and priest’s wife who was filled with love for everybody, and especially abused women. There are many miracles attributed to her intercessions and protection.
